It’s 1992. The place, Singapore. A dream is taking shape. It’s a dream that’s born out of a young lady’s relationship with her mother. The one thing her mother did, was make sure she travelled everywhere with her daughter. Through these travels, the daughter simply observed her mother through her lens – an eye for detail, appreciation of unique things and her never compromising view on quality. The mother always said one thing for everything they bought for their home- “It must have a sense of belonging…it must evoke a feeling and must not simply be a possession.’’

The young lady took these observations and learnings into creating her dream of WTP (Window to the Past), a furniture store that now, 26 years later, stands tall as one of Singapore’s leading furniture stores. The young lady is MIMI. She now brings these years of experience and expertise to Bangalore with MIMI Homes. And yes, her children are a part of this journey too, as the legacy for quality, detail and uniqueness remain intact from one generation to another.
